to do if I have a Firewall Installed on
my PC & need it to run for virus or
spyware protection? |

You are having the Firewall
and if it is blocking you from registering
or doing Live Update the Max Secure
product, then kindly find the solution
to your problem below.
Note: After you exit the firewall on
your PC according to the directions
given below, close the Max Secure Product
you are trying to register and restart
it again. And now try to register again.

Norton Personal Firewall (Norton
Internet Security) |

Simply right click on
the icon in the system tray as
shown in the figure and click
on Disable Norton Internet
Security option.

Quick Heal Personal Firewall |
 |
Simply right click on
the icon in the system tray as
shown in the figure and click
on Exit option.

Zone Alarm Firewall |
 |
Simply right click on
the icon in the system tray as
shown in the figure and click
on Shutdown Zone Alarm
Security Suite option.

VET Antivirus |
 |
Simply right click on
the icon in the system tray as
shown in the figure below and
click on Snooze Resident
Protection option.

It will ask
for the password to verify if
you are the right user to disable
it or not. |

Give the time
duration for which you want to
keep it disabled. |

Tiny Personal Firewall |

Open the application
and Uncheck the Firewall
enabled option to disable
the firewall.

Windows XP Firewall |
|
Click Start, Control
Panel, double-click Network Connections,
right-click the desired connection,
Properties>Advanced tab, under
Internet Connection Firewall,
uncheck the option "Protect
my Computer and Network by limiting
or preventing access to this computer
from the internet".
This should help you to Registration
and Live Update of Products.
Please Note:
This is not a limitation on the
part of Max Secure Products
but Windows
Firewall has blocked
it, which you need to permit. |

McAfee Firewall Plus |
 |
McAfee Alert:
Application (For Example, MaxSDUI.exe)
wants to access the Internet.
Click on "Grant Access".
If you didn't get any prompt from
McAfee then,
Simply Right click
on McAfee System tray Icon ->
Personal Firewall.
Click on Internet Applications
|
|
Check for Spywaredetector.
Right click on MaxSDUI.exe
and click on "Allow
Full Access"
Now try to register
the Product. After registration
click on Live Update.
McAfee Alert: Application
(LiveUpdate.exe) wants to access
the Internet. Click on "Grant
Access"
If you didn't get any prompt from
McAfee then,
Right click on
McAfee System tray Icon ->
Personal Firewall. Click
on Internet Applications.
Check for Spywaredetector.
Right click on LiveUpdate.exe
and click on "Allow
Full Access" |

Outpost Firewall |
 |
When you install
the Product and try to register
it, Outpost Firewall will give
you the below message box just
check the "Allow
all the activities for this application"
and click on OK. |

Just right click
on the system tray icon of the
Outpost firewall on your computer
and click on the Exit
and Shutdown the Outpost option.

When
I am trying to register I am getting
the message that “It seems that
you may have some Firewall program blocking
Registration...”
|

Follow the below mentioned
steps to register the product.
Step 1: When you try to register the
product and if some firewall is trying
to block it then the below shown message
window will open, with the browser as
shown in the following image. This page
will have the Activation Key in it

Step 2: Copy this Activation Key from
the page as shown in the image and paste
it in the message window in the Activation
Key field.
Step 3: Click on the
OK button and your
Product will get registered.

How
do I register again, if I have re-formatted
my hard drive? |
|
Once you have your computer
working after re-formatting, download
our latest release from the product
website. Install the program again using
this setup file. In Case the software
asks you for registration again, just
re-enter the registration key that was
mailed to you during purchase process.
If you still having difficulty registering
again, then you can generate new keys
for you. Remember that old keys will
be disabled and can no longer be used.
Click

Also you can generate new keys when,
1. You have 2 PCs in the same house
and want to use this product on another
PC and discontinue using on the old
one.
2. If you have bought a new computer
and would like to transfer the product
on new PC.

What
is my Registration Number? |
|
Registration number is
an alpha-numeric key that is provided
to you when you purchase of the product.
This number registers product to allow
the user to use it for one year with
full functionality. This key is unique
and helps us to identify the user to
provide Customer Support.

What
if my Registration Number is Invalid? |
|
We recommend not entering
the Registration Number that you have
received by mail. It is suggested that
you Copy and Paste
the Registration Number to avoid errors.

purchased Max Secure Product but I never
received a Registration Number. |
|
After purchasing Max
Secure product, a confirmation
E-Mail is sent to you containing
your Registration Number. Be sure to
check any junk mail or spam mail folders
in case the message was caught by spam
filters. If this did not resolve the
problem please contact
us for another Registration Number.

I
am unable to locate my Registration Number. |
|
Please send an email
to our Technical
Support along with your details
entered during Registration of the copy.
We will send your Registration
Number on the Email-Id that
is entered by you during Registration.

Can
I register product on multiple computers
with one Registration Number? |
|
No.
The Registration Number is valid only
for a single computer. The same Registration
Number can be used on multiple Operating
Systems on same computer. But can not
be used on different computers. |
