A software that can reduce anti-virus scan time by up
to 40 minutes has been launched.
Acording to Max Secure Software, which launched the
product launched nationally from Pune on Tuesday, comes
with smart scan proprietary technology that modifies
how a computer is scanned, ultimately helping the user
to reduce the scan time by 40 minutes.
“Anti-virus scanning of the PC is extremely boring
as it takes a long time and uses lots of system resources
like CPU and memory. Hence, we are announcing the launch
of the antivirus solution ‘Max Secure Anti Virus
Pro’.
“This product has cut the most scan time with
best detection rate and active protection,” Sanjay
Pradhan, founder and CEO of Max Secure Software told
reporters here. The Indian company, which has their
presence in the US, Europe and Australia with seven
per cent global market share, is entering the country
after seven years of its operations.
“We have a large customer base worldwide and are
confident to be making inroads in the Indian market
too,” he said.
The product has advanced blocking features which block
spyware ActiveX, registry intrusions, browser helper
objects, toolbars, hosts file modifications and tracking
cookies. It also blocks the bad websites and users can
also add the websites they feel are not worth browsing.
This feature also terminates new viruses even before
their installation.The software is priced at Rs 1,275
for a year and the company will be rolling a corporate
edition of the product next month.
