Max Secure to enter Rs 250cr Indian spyware market

Security software solutions provider, Max Secure Software, will make its foray into Indian markets in April.

“Indian companies are selling anti-virus solutions as anti-spyware software in India. No major Indian company is selling anti-spyware and this opens up a huge market for us,” Sanjay Pradhan, CEO Max Secure Software.

He made the announcement while speaking at the launch of the ‘Max Spyware Detector Enterprise Edition’ for the enterprise and SMB market.

“The market in India for anti-spyware solutions is around Rs 250 crore. During the first year, the company would focus on enterprises, corporates, financial institutions and government offices in Maharashtra. The company would set up a channel distribution network in the state and appoint 90 channel partners by December 2007,” he said.
